The developer appointed Rubix Planning to initially conduct a feasibility appraisal to explore the opportunity for any development within the side garden of a house in Crawley Down, Mid Sussex. Following initial review and design, detailed discussions were had with Mid Sussex in a pre-application process before full planning applications were devised.
Two schemes were submitted for approval; one application for a new house attached to the existing house, and an application for a detached house, which was preferred by the Client. Rubix entered into detailed design discussions and negotiation, and this resulted in the detached scheme being approved (subject to conditions).
