Objection Letters

Objection Letters (or representation) involves our professional representation to your Local Planning Authority on your behalf, in response to an application submitted by others that is affecting you.

This is often an unnerving and new process for any persons feeling affected. Luckily the planning system has built in democratic safegaurds meaning that:

  • There is a statutory third-party right to comment on the determination of an application;

  • LPA's are duty bound to recieve an objection during the prescribed consultation period, and take all comments into consideration when assessing and determining the application.

Great, but what does this mean?

This allows you the opportunity to develop, either on your own or with our Chartered Town Planner, a comprehensive objection to convinvce the Local Planning Authority to not grant approval, or to influence the application under scrutiny.
